How we differ from
other high-conflict divorce support
-
High conflict divorce coach
HCDCs are a wonderful support and often help individuals navigating family court navigate other parties who engage in coercive control tactics and abusive behaviors. However, a HCDC may or may not understand the intersection of criminality, Parental Responsibility Evaluator (PRE), Child-Family Investigator (CFI) processes, or have navigated domestic violence or other high-level systems that need a specialized strategy and specialized coaching.

Therapist
An absolutely must during the divorce process is a trained therapist who can support you with the daily hurricane of post-separation abuse. Survivor Resource Group does not provide therapeutic services. Therefore, we encourage you to work in tandem with your therapist during this time. Survivor Resource Group is different from a therapist in that we provide highly-specialized coaching and material preparation services that help get survivors through the PRE and CFI processes. We know the family court system inside and out.

Survivor Resource Group
Our sole focus is getting survivors through the PRE and CFI (custody evaluation) processes. Custody investigations are re-traumatizing and re-triggering for victims; the tactics the other party will use to provoke and upset you during the process can be costly. Survivor Resource Group knows the PRE and CFI processes inside and out. We aim to clarify your narrative and organize your evidence so it is accessible to the investigator. We demystify the process from start to finish in a way that a HCDC or therapist may not be able to.
