Support for SURVIVORS NAVIGATING CUSTODY EVALUATIONS
EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT FOR ATTORNEYS + SURVIVORS
EDUCATION + TRAINING FOR professionals working with survivors
Colorado + Nationwide

Every day, thousands of children are court-ordered into unsupervised contact with abusers. Survivors must secure the safety of their children amidst structural barriers that enable abusers to perpetuate their abusive acts in systemic ways. Intentionally and unintentionally, a lack of education for professionals working with survivors and children, poor policy that enables institutional abuse, and a lack of support for survivors navigating custody evaluations produce poor outcomes.
Survivor Resource Group is strategic in its mission to improve outcomes for survivors and children through wraparound support during custody evaluations involving Parental Responsibility Evaluators (PREs), and Child and Family Investigators (CFIs). We improve outcomes by educating evaluators, family court professionals, attorneys, and other agencies in coercive control, domestic violence and its impact on children.
MISSION & VISION
Our mission is to improve access and outcomes for survivors and children undergoing custody (PRE and CFI) evaluations. We do this by providing accessible support services to survivors, which include writing, evidence organization, relocation reports and expert witness testimony, and coaching during the evaluation process. We also provide education and training for family court professionals, law enforcement and other agencies interested in better understanding coercive control, domestic violence and its effect on children.
Our vision is to transform systems that institutionalize abuse for survivors and children by bringing together the brightest minds in law and advocacy to support survivors and inform public policy at the state and federal levels. We are relentless in our vision of building the largest network of experts, expert witnesses, and legal scholars that are solely focused on supporting survivors and children.
